Community Links
The school takes an active part in village life. The strongest possible links are maintained with Sir James Smith’s School (the secondary school to which most pupils transfer at age 11). We hold an annual Harvest Festival with the gifts being delivered by the children to the housebound in the village. We also invite the Senior Citizens into the school at Christmas to see the class plays and provide them with tea. Carol Services are held on a rotation basis at the Anglican and

“Friends” organise both fundraising and social events. They contribute generously both financially and in terms of time given to help within the school.
